Begging Babus on the Steps

Varanasi has a lot of beggars and sadhus, hoping for some donations from the Hindu pilgrims that flock to the holy city.

This is my favourite people photo from Varanasi, I think.

Difficult to pick a favourite. Such colour and fascinating faces, but, you, of course, have the added advantage of knowing what was to the left, or behind you, and the memory of the heat and noisy rattle and hoot of the traffic. Enjoy your next Indian visit. Won't be long to wait now.
