Nanday Conure In My Yard!

Sugar Land TX

I was lucky to see TWO Nanday Conure parakeets in my backyard, early this morning.
These birds are not native to Texas or the USA. They are from South America...

Another super shot. I can't imagine what it would be like to look out and see these guys at one's feeder! Exciting for sure. It would make you think you'd awoken in the tropics. THey must have escaped from somewhere, don't you think? Hope they survive OK. V
