"Dark Eyes"
by dawn

A group of Calla lilies shot using the Canon twin flash
for macro lenses, which I'm increasing becoming quite enamored
with. This was shot at f/32--what most think is a complete
no-no, but I think the detail captured was pretty impressive
across a series of flowers. I did very little to this in
post, except making the blacks blacker. It came out of the
camera with that almost metallic sheen.

It's lovely and I can see why you are enamored with the twin flash.

Beautiful! The rhythmical composition leads the eye to explore every flower and all the wonderful detail.

Another very effective use of the "metallic flower" effect you've been exploring.

Lovely composition and colors. They really stand out against the background.

Beautiful! The clarity and detail give this a strong 3D effect.
