Daisy in the rain

I didn't plan on doing a PAD today, but about 7 o'clock I decided that the rain wasn't going to get the better of me. Ben, Minky and I set off for the local nature reserve. We saw a pure white Starling flying with a flock of black ones and a baby Blue Tit. It was to dark and wet to get a shot of either, so I took this on the way home as a compromise. So pleased we didn't stop in.

I like the quiet softness, and somber tones...Angel's tears should never be too bright.

Wot Phil said....still and all, it's a cracking shot. I'd like to see you re-process this - select the flower and boost the Levels a bit to bring out the whiteness, don't worry too much about the background it looks fine to me

Great shot, the water droplets certainly help make the daisy something different.

Well worth going out , the best pics often come when we least expect them....

The rain drops can make even a simple daisy so pretty!

Nicely isolated, and I really like the raindrops

Ah flooery rain - I've been meaning to go out in it all week, but have always managed to talk myself out of it!
The pic looks a bit underexposed, so that'll give you more noise in the shadows if you then try and pump up the brightness on the pooter. Looking at your EXIF, you've set it to 2-stops underexposed - which is a bit too much I think, despite the dark background...

A pretty shot which embodies a wet summer evening.
Image looks fine on my screen.

Bust on sensor?, I don't think so, but If I can suggest you something, try with tripod, if it is possible and set ISO 200 for example, conditions of light are not very well here as I can see.

Beautiful composition and motive with drops, very nice photo. V.

P.S. can any one tel me why I have so much noise in the dark areas of this shot,my ISO is only 400, does it mean my sensor is bust?
