This is my fourth summer in northwest Montana near Glacier National Park. My base camp is a camper van located in an rv park founded by Catherine and Rick, each born and raised on Montana ranches. The yellow flower is among the early blossomings from last year's flower garden. Indeed, although the growing season here is short, native and cultivated plants thrive.
