The graduation ceremony took place at Lod Airport (now Ben Gurion International Airport TLV)
13 young cadets got their pilot wings on April 21st, 1939. This was the first pre-IAF flight school.
The flight school was organized by the “Etzel”, the pre-Jewish state underground organization in 1939.
They later became the true core of the fledgling Israeli Air Force.
