Bird on the Window Sill

100530_006P.jpg

I have no idea what kind of bird this is. Richard and Christiane would know. He has been inhabiting the window sill over the kitchen sink for the past couple days. Don't know why. Maybe there are some ants for him to eat or something like that.

Did you ever hear the famous poem.

Who killed cock Robin.
I said the sparrow.
With my little bow and arrow.
I killed cock Robin.

Theres a lot more as well, I wont bore you with it all.

A Sparrow, they lived everywhere in London, just about the most common bird.
Then a few years ago they all disappeared.
All the "Experts" are still arguing why.

I knew Rich and Christiane would come through!

Male house sparrow. This species is especially fond of french fries.

Ginny thought it had its eyes on the tomatoes we have sitting on the sill.
