I went out on my neighborhood trails for a quick look-around, but once out there something drove me to head further out on the trails to an area where I sometimes see uncommon bird species like the Eastern Towhee and Black-billed Cuckoo. When I got out there I found this Indian Skipper probing the one and only remaining damp muddy part of the trail. Normally the trails here don't dry out until late July but this spring, with the heat and lack of moisture, the trails are already bone dry.
