A few other varieties of wildflowers were in bloom along the trail also. Pictured here is Partridgeberry, but we also saw Whorled Loosestrife, False Solomon's Seal, a type of Hawkweed, past peak Trilliums among others. Mountain Laurel was also in bloom. I was hoping for some creek side or at the waterfall, but didn't see anything worth shooting. It was about noon when we got back to the vehicles. We both had the same idea of chilling mid day, then going back out to the loop late afternoon.
