The Aboriginal people ask people not to climb the rock because it is sacred to them. I prefer not to upset people who have sincere religious beliefs. Rangers warn that climbing it can be hazardous and over the years many people have died in the attempt. However,some people still do it. The base walk is probably more interesting.
