I like both images. FYI, the ranger is just behind the trees east of Castle Geyser, checking a gauge that records water temperature and flow rates from the geyser.

Once again we saw the same shot at virtually the same moment. I love your title, and how you abstracted your version, only suggesting the bike, and stressing the hat. I changed scale relationships in my own approach, making the hat much smaller than the bike it sits upon. (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/104715857&exif=Y ) I think both approaches work effectively, yours as an an emphatic pun, and mine as a pun on scale.
