An eleven image VBL panorama. This is a 2.3 mb image reflecting the size of the render which in original form was over 900 mb at four thousand seven hundred by nearly fifty thousand pixels wide.. Processing in Photoshop included local contrast sharpening as defined by Ctein. The final image was cropped to remove the inevitable hounds toothing from the hand held shoot. The .jpg image you are seeing is 768 by 9990 pixels
The origin of the images is at the border of the White Desert National Park in the Egyptian Western Desert between the Oases of Bahariya and Farafra.
