This young girl was among the first to greet our boat where it was moored near her village. Everyone form Grandmothers to infants were loaded in small boats surrounding our vessel. Keeping pace with the current, they constantly were bailing water from their canoes. They were there for hours and came prepared with lunch packed for their children. These villages do not get tourist boats and we created much curiosity.
