A perfect late winter morning a few minutes after sunrise at my favourite Scottish beach Mellon Udrigle. I never tire of this place and inspiration just washes over me like the soft pink light of this beautiful new day. I arrived very early and scouted a perfect textured but otherwise unblemished section of beach and divided the scene as precisely as I could into three equal areas of earth, sea and sky, only the mountain range behind softly alters the geometry of balance.
