Sometimes, a delicate, perfectly balanced, beautifully presented pièce de résistance just can't cut it...and a plate of hot filling beans on toast with lashing of saucetastic condiments is the only game in town...

I always see this as distinctly British cuisine; although, there are a number of North American variants that have survived the trip across that Atlantic. Like Cindi, I like this with hotdogs cut up into it - a guilty pleasure.

Being they are a good food source they look good to me!! Don't like to mess them up with sauces though :)
