There was a watermelon patch on Jimmy's family farm and he was in charge of bringing the delicious, ready to eat melons from the patch to the house. So each day, as sure as the sun rose, Jimmy would hitch Amos up to the cart and off they would go for the melons. His cart would hold several melons if Hazel did not go for the ride. Jimmy loved the melon season!
Jimmy was quite the business man, assured and held the reins in confidant hands.
