Wooden Shoes

These wooden shoes are a perfect fit for my feet!
Purchased in Kinderdijk, Holland several years ago, they stand guard next to the front door of Rabbits Run.

they look as they are made for decoration and not for working on the fields...!!! surely they would give you aches and pains when really used but it is a very nice souvenir from my home country the Netherlands!

Lovely pair of wooden clogs, mine are from the same place but I can not wear them longer than some seconds. They're uncomfortable and very noisy.

Nice Cloggs, I thought for years they where a stereotype fashion, like assuming all English men wear Bowler hats, when in fact know one does. I was shocked to see several people wearing them in a dutch factory I was working in.

I've not seen clogs so decorative before. 'They stand guard' you say - are the rabbits afraid to go out past them - or other animals afraid to come in past them? So long as it works! - lol
