Mobbing of Black-winged Stilt ( two individuals ) on Marsh Harrier, photographed at the marshes of Scarlino (GR). The Stilt is often very aggressive towards predators real or alleged. Among these were once classified myself when , arriving at a beach in Sardinia, passed the edge of the dunes where Stilts nested ( which I did not know ) . I still hear the sound of the wings on my head.

Mobbing di Cavaliere d'Italia ( si trattava di due individui ) su Falco di Palude, fotografato presso il padule di Scarlino ( GR ). Il Cavaliere d'Italia è spesso molto aggressivo verso predatori veri o presunti. Fra questi sono stato classificato anch'io una volta che, nel raggiungere una spiaggia della Sardegna, passai ai bordi di uno stagnetto retrodunale ove nidificavano ( cosa che non sapevo ) proprio i Cavalieri. Ancora sento il rumore delle ali sulla testa.
