Sunrise is approaching. The Launch Abort Vehicle (LAV) is poised on the launch pad ready for launch. It's the white speck in the middle of the frame. The two red lights just above and to the left of the LAV are on top of a launch gantry that is adjacent to the Pad Abort launch position. (It's not being used for this test.)
Winds are strong up at the viewing area prior to sunrise. My hat was blown off my head as I stepped off the bus. That was not an encouraging sign. I was told that the winds are on the good side of marginal down at the launch site and are coming from the direction that allows for the greatest winds at launch. (The viewing area is up closer to the Organ Mountains)
