While still consecrated, this beautiful old church is now in the care of the Churches' Conservation Trust. Two services a year are
held in the church, with the candlelit Advent service in December being the highlight of its year.
Its curator told me that the church receives visitors from all over the world - but that many of those who have lived in York all
their lives don't even realise that it's there.
