25th - Trapped

Soulbury, Bucks. view map

Waiting for the middle of Soulbury Three Locks to fill so we can continue southwards...luckily, there was a pub half-way up for cold refreshments :o)

Nice place to be trapped Doug, and with a pub near, it wasn't hard at all!

Seems like everyone ends up waiting in line...I'm sure the pub helped! - Racine

An excellent choice for "trapped".

I agree with Mairead, a peaceful and picturesque place to be trapped. Much better than a traffic jam.

Looks like a nice peaceful place to be trapped.

Not going anywhere for a while. Been on river cruisers, but never tried canal narrow boats. Must be patience inducing.

Thatt's a great example for the word... somteimes one has to be very patient here...but it's sooo relaxing too!:-)

I've seen the "changing of the locks" on the Canal du Midi in Carcassonne, FR. It's pretty cool to watch and also quite time consuming! You were most definitely "trapped" between locks!

Envious of you doing this trip I have to say. I would love to be trapped there!!
