Here at the village of Spring Mount, a highway bridge replacement has been extended to
provide a separate bridge over the Perkiomen Creek for the Perkiomen Trail, a multi-use trail
that approximately follows the former Perkiomen Branch right-of-way of the Reading Railroad.
