This spot has the largest concentration of Virginia Bluebells in the state. On this day the soft sky from high clouds illuminated the flowers beautifully.

,Tamron AF 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 XR While photographing these Bluebells I dropped my D80 6 feet to the rocks and thought it was a goner. I took the lens off, removed the battery, then replaced it and it worked!
