(Rosanna) The Plaza de Espaņa was actually on the front of the brochure that my college used to advertise their Spain program. However, I never saw the monument until after the semester ended!
In this photo, I am standing in front of a statue of Don Quijote (Don Quixote) and Sancho Panza. I believe that the man carved higher on the monument is Cervantes who wrote Don Quijote. I must admit that I have never read the book, but I dressed up as Don Quijote for a presentation in Spanish II.
