Taken at Lake Guntersville State Park in northeast Alabama. I was walking and heard a whistle, which scared me because I thought I was alone. Finally I spotted her and realized she was warning me to back off. :)

She didn't kill the squirrel, she grabbed it out of the road. I took a few pictures of her and left her be. I watched her for a while from a distance and she must've been young because she was having a hard time picking up that squirrel.
