This and the next picture are those of a high flying (200/300meters) Black Apine Vulture (vautour moine)seen over the garden and photographed with the D300+500mm+Tenco TC 1.4+tripod). This is a very poor blown up and dlighted picture of a very rare bird, different from the lighter colored species reintroduced in the Verdon Gorges (see gallery).
