Here is the restaurant outside of Segovia where my family and I stopped for lunch on our way back to Madrid. I ordered a traditional Spanish dessert, but some of my family members ended up with ice cream treats for dessert.

In Spain, they have wonderful prepackages ice cream. The ice cream bars come in elaborate shapes with many different kinds of outside coatings. The ice cream is sold from small booths on the sidewalks in Madrid. It is very good, but my family had hoped for traditional Spanish desserts.
