On our way back to Madrid from Barcelona, my family and I stopped to stay with my host family in Segovia province again. We spent New Year's Eve with them and brought in the New Year by eating one grape for each time the clock in the Puerta del Sol chimed.

Here is my host family's dog Chatta under the dining room table. She was my first "host dog." During college, I had three host dogs and heard dog commands in two foreign languages. That was something I was not expecting when I decided to major in multi-languages.
