bug boat - brenda

This little craft rides piggyback on a much larger herring seiner. It is used to draw one end of the purse-seine net and then close it around the herring.

Well, learn something new every day! It sure is a cute little thing and probably good it is painted a nice bright orange in case it gets caught out in a storm huH? Do you live close to a lot of fishing docks Brenda? If I could get fish that fresh I might eat more. Do they get lobsters, and king crabs, etc.?
