It would be Lock and Dam #1 on the upper Mississippi River. There is actually a lock n dam a bit further up stream in downtown Minneapolis but this is #1 of many that take barges and boats on their way down the mighty river. The elevation of the river drops from 1,475 ft to sea level in the Gulf of Mexico.
