I don't believe I've ever seen a killdeer bird. That lens appears to do a good job!

Good shot. Love the low angle. When you shoot from bird level, you really see attitude.

Pretty good considering it was handheld, makes me wonder how sharp it would be on a tripod. You do a lot better hand holding than I could.
