The "H'ne" is the main leading instrument in the "Hsaing Waing" ensembles of Myanmar. Related to the "Shenai" of India and other reed instruments in Asia, it is remarakble for its unstraight appearance. The sound is very loud and the tuning of this instrument formerly was giving the names of the single notes in old nodal scales.

Die Oboe "H'ne" ist das führende Melodie-Instrument in der "Hsaing Waing" Ensemblemusik in Myanmar. Sie ist leicht durch ihre schiefe Bauform von anderen Oboen wie z.B. der indischen "Shenai" zu unterscheiden. Ihr durchdringender Ton ist laut, und die Grundstimmung dieses Instruments hat einst den Tönen der modalen Grundskalen der alten Musik in Myanmar ihre Namen gegeben.
