This ant is carrying the aphid hatchling off to a greener part of the tree. Aphids aren't exactly the most agile animals, but ants are, and it seems they're scouting the premises for good spots for their lifestock.

The background is the sky - I didn't take these to a studio, it's all done while everyone is still on the tree in the yard.
