This is the bird I most wanted to see and photograph on the trip to Kota Kinabalu. Like its cousin from Frasers Hill, come early and then it will disappear for the entire day. I missed this bird at the Summit Trail and Liwagu but got it one afternoon deep inside the forest preening itself.
