Vulture tree...
This is the second time this week that I've witnessed this type of behavior with Vultures. My husband says they spread their wings out like that after a big meal. A little creepy....

The glowing muted colors add to the surreal nature of this. Excellent processing, Nora. ~V~

I've been known to do the same...

Good image of these vultures. Perhaps spreading the wings widens the cavities and allows the food to go down more easily (lol)... V

Nice image Nora. Perhaps they spread their wings after a meal. They also do it to dry out the wings and to cool down when it is very hot.
