This young lady is my boy's love and best friend,Arwin. She belongs to
a very dear friend of mine at the barn, named Beth. His mane is visible
just behind her neck. She is as large as my Friesian, but is of the
Percheron persuasion. My horse stands 16.2 hands and Arwin is at least as
tall, and she is still growing. She has such a sweet baby doll head, most
unusual for that breed. She is a mare, just 4-years old. She and the
Hark run and frolic up and down the sand arena, making very loud hoof
beats in the deep beach sand; something I thought was not possible.
It is such fun to watch. Then they stand with their ends swapped
around and groom each other...so cute. She is all Alpha girl, and my boy is
a sweetie and a yes dear sort of guy. It works out well for them.
