Kammuan shows me 3 stick figures of women, dressed in a paper dress. On it he writes something, and my understanding is one represents the mother, one the daughter, and one the generations of ancestors.
Each of the three 'dolls' is used in the ritual, then burnt, as message sent to the spirits.
