Artist Bio:
Laura Alex Frye-Levine is a media artist and social ecologist.
She works primarily in rural coffee-producing communities in El Merendón Honduras
on issues of local livelihood and protected areas conservation.
Her 2008 documentary film “Export”- a first-person account of a rural
coffee producing community in a remote Honduran cloud forest,
has screened at environmental conferences in Nairobi, Boston, and Beijing.
