These images of my niece, ‘Dreams While in Santa Fe’, were made while we were studying
in Santa Fe, New Mexico, last summer. Each is a sunprint—a piece of photographic paper
processed in the sun, scanned, and then saved as a digital file.

Artist Bio:

Carolyn Forman Courtney was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, where she
currently lives a few blocks from her birth house. She has worked with photography and had
her own darkroom for 40 years. She focuses primarily on darkroom photography and loves
going to Santa Fe to study.
