Oil Storage Tanks

DOUGLAS GANTON has chosen a changing industrial district
called the Toronto Portlands to illustrate this year’s theme.
This is an area where he has spent much of his professional life
as an award winning sound mixer for dramatic films
on location there (i.e. Hearn Generator),
and in the various studios located there.
He has participated in a Group Show at the Filmport Studios
as well as presenting shows at other venues.
Although earning a living working with moving images and sound,
he enjoys the challenge of using still photography
- something like comparing a Haiku to a novel.
