From the Wrentham Historical Society "Knuckup Farm was first built in 1653, burned and rebuilt in 1813 and in 1865. It was destroyed by fire on 7 April, 1898 and replaced by the Wrenmere Inn. The Inn burned in 1935 and was located where the George L Vogel School now stands on Taunton Street."
