He was thrown off the ice (while coming back from the second intermission) then thrown off of the bench, then thrown out of the rink! First time I've ever seen a guy thrown out 3 times. All because he didn't know the rules. Players with off setting minors can't rejoin the play until the next whistle - even if they are already shorthanded and that rejoining player would make 5.
Worst part - this was an exhibition game - worth nothing.
He blamed the linemen (who made the call).
The lesson hes teaching his kids is: it is alright if you make a mistake just blame someone else.
Not really a good example. I've seen much worse. The coach can and often does have words with the officials. They don't always see everything that happens on the ice. What it comes down to is how the coaches and players have words. If they get out of line, the officials can eject them from the arena. The ugliness usually comes from the parents. They often get over emotional and forget it is just a game.
