Last time I was in Ritzville...
The drug store was a Rexall
and the restaurant across the street
was a Mom & Pop just like most
small towns everywhere serving up country breakfasts,
hot turkey sandwiches and the never ending cup of coffee.
Now it is a Mexican food restaurant
painted with the colors of Mexico
with neon signs in Spanish enticing
passers by with the promise of the exotic.
It’s nether good or bad, it's just different,
People make a town.
Things seem to stay the same,
yet much has changed!
