Terminal Island looks complete on the left hand side where the causeway curves but Causeway Island above it, to become Coast Guard Base Miami Beach, is split into a small round island separated from a linear fill island that came from dredging a channel.

It is very interesting to see the number of ships docked around the perimeter of Fisher Island and anchored offshore too.
