HUH???

Fort Worth, TX

Ok, am I alone in this or is this the strangest way to eat pancakes? Anita put cheese and syrup on her pancakes. Then she proceeded to bring in eggs and hashbrowns with ketchup on both. For some reason, I'm just thinking this is wrong. I've seen people put ketchup on their eggs before but cheese and syrup on your pancakes? Anyone else do this?

I have never seen this either...is she from up north?

Well I always have maple syrup with my pancakes and at times I have scrambled eggs or an omlet that has cheese in it and sometimes I have hash browns with my eggs and sometimes I have pancakes with my egg. So I guess this is OK :-)
I do not do the ketchup thing though!

With cheese??? Hmmm, I am with you!

At first I thought she was pouring coffee on also! Fasciating observation, well seen!

Add some peanut butter and you'll have what my work partner likes to eat for breakfast!
Yuk!

Cheese on pancakes, why not? I just prefer when other people do it. :)

I LOVE cheese but it does have it's place - and the cakes ain't it. But, whatever turns your crank, floats your boat, or thrills your taste buds. Love the image.

The pancakes should be buckwheat (grown in New york State) and drenched in 100% pure maple syrup (produced in New York State)! :)

you're not alone...this looks like a heavy hit...one day last week I noticed a colleague in the cafeteria with a bacon cheesburger drenched in ketchup...french fries also swamped with ketchup..and a container of chocolate milk...some like it hot I guess...V

If the pancakes did not touch the hashbrowns, the ketchup would be fine. The cheese just adds another layer of flavor. The quantity would be just too much for me.

No cheese here please V !!

I think the different combinations that people eat are interesting. I always wonder if say cottage cheese tastes the same like to you as it does to me? My husband won't touch it but his mother ate it with sugar on it. Now to me that's gross, but she also ate sugar on her tomatoes. It would be interesting to do a study on the many unusual eating habits of people. This is an interesting capture Cindi.

I prefer mine to be cheese-free. Oh, and ketchup is wrong, wrong, wrong. You must use Louisiana hotsauce (from New Iberia) on hashbrowns and eggs.

No cheese here, please and thank you
lol

I've never thought of cheese on pancakes.

Whatever floats the boat, our youngest would put ketchup on anything. (But never saw him put it on pancakes) Anyway it all goes in the same place.

Maybe she's from Wisconsin! We had a pancake breakfast last Sunday and they had chunks of three different cheeses along with sausage and eggs. I guess that's almost the same, just wasn't shredded! She didn't put it on your cake yesterday did she? :-)

That is just so...so...so. wrong.

We don't put cheese but we surely do put cane syrup.
