My son & I swung by the bridge this afternoon on the way back from skateboarding. We were checking out the various bridges to find out how high the rivers are. I also wanted to see the results of the steel girders from yesterday. They are all in place. I am on the eastern side of the bridge, facing south. The water was really high and really moving. There is a house on the far bank to the left that had water throughout their yard.
I have seen the water level higher during our floods a few years back, but that was after a spring where we had 30 days of rain. This is the effect of a single storm.
