We managed to accumulate at least another foot of snow from Wednesday to Friday. However being that little bit warmer it has started to thaw at lower levels. I scuttled out late this afternoon in the vain hope of a sunset but met with various shades of white & grey. In the hills the snow in places was a couple of feet deep and it appears the snow plough had only got through this morning with great mounds of snow encroaching onto the roads.
