Hida Folk Village is basically a model town of the old Takayama area and is an exhibition venue. Within the compound of this village, there are different life size models of old Japanese houses, barns, stables and work places. If they were to take away all the signs and notice boards, it can be very real.
Hida Folk Village is about 15 minutes bus ride from Takayama bus station.
