Wintering elk herd

At first glance it looks like just a bunch of sagebrush dotted across the hill, but take
a closer look! I wanted to get the overall effect of how huge this herd is. There had
to be around 400-500.

The next two photos were as close as I could get.

Holy mud, that is a big herd! I thought it was an ant hill. lol.... Seriously that is some big huge herd. Your snow is almost gone.
