It has been white for weeks now. Although Buffalo has a reputation for snow, it is not always white from December to March, but for this year January and February have been relatively white. I like it. The sky was beautiful today, Sunday. First bright, sunny, non-office day I've experienced in a while. This photograph was taken yesterday, Saturday when the sky was just beginning to make way for the sunny day that was to become today. This photograph was taken along Lake Shore Road not far from Evangola State Park. I saw this scene while driving home from shooting, for Buffalo.com, a Winter Fest gathering at Evangola. The scene impressed me enough to cause me to pull off and into a little road side park, walk up a snow covered hill to a walk bridge over a little creek that feeds out into Lake Erie to shoot this. Fun. The results of photography are so rewarding in so many ways.
